Shop and the SOL marketplace

What the KEEP Shop sells, how the player-to-player item Market works in SOL, fees, limits, who can trade, and how a purchase is confirmed.

Pixel Kingdom Wars has two places to spend: the SHOP, where the game sells a short list of items for KEEP and a few boosts for SOL, and the MARKET, where players sell items to each other for SOL. The Shop is a fixed price list; the Market is an order book with a floor price, and the game never holds your SOL in the middle.

Everything on this page runs on Solana devnet. KEEP and SOL here are test-net tokens with no real-world value, and prices are playtest placeholders that the owner may tune.

Quick facts

The Shop

The Shop with its ITEMS, BOOSTS, TOKENS and CODEX tabs

The Shop has four tabs: ITEMS, BOOSTS, TOKENS and CODEX. CODEX is not a store at all — tapping it opens the in-game reference pages.

ITEMS — KEEP purchases

ItemCost (KEEP)Requirement
KEG OF HASTE60none
FINISHER'S SEAL300none
POWDER CHARGE1,500none
MAGE TRAINING WRIT5,000none
HERO CONTRACT: VEX3,000Keep level 5 and paid land
HERO CONTRACT: THEODOR10,000Keep level 5 and paid land

What each item does, and its weight and ownership limits, is covered in Items, gear and inventory. The short version: the Keg and the Seal finish a build that is close to done, the Powder Charge adds one raid energy, the Mage writ unlocks mages for your whole account, and a Hero Contract lets you place a hero's altar without paying the recruit cost again.

A few rules apply to every KEEP purchase:

Why: the Shop is deliberately small. Consumables are priced in KEEP so they stay a convenience, and anything with real raid power — gear, the rare writs, the Warzone Aegis — has to be earned through the Forge instead of bought.

BOOSTS — SOL purchases

BoostPriceNotes
SHIELD +12H0.05 SOLExtends your base shield by 12 hours
2ND BUILDERfrom 0.5 SOLOpens the builders screen; each extra builder costs more than the last
WARZONE SHIELD 48H10 SOLOnly shown while a warzone is active

Shields are SOL-only on purpose — there is no consumable that extends a base shield (the Forge-only Warzone Aegis deploys a 48-hour warzone shield; it does not extend one). Every SOL purchase is a transaction you sign in your own wallet; the server grants the boost only after it verifies the exact payment at finalized commitment. See Defenses, traps and walls for how shields work and Base building for builders.

TOKENS — not yet live

The three KEEP packs shown here (100 KEEP, 550 KEEP +10%, 1,200 KEEP +20%) are greyed out and marked COMING SOON. There is no purchase behind them. The same tab links to the KEEP WALLET, where you can deposit and withdraw KEEP you already hold; the BUY KEEP WITH SOL option on that screen reads TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE. See Economy: Shards and KEEP and Deposits, withdrawals and 2FA.

Skins and lootboxes

There are none. The three keep-skin cosmetics were removed from the game on 2026-08-15 and every buyer was refunded in full at the original price. No lootbox or gacha mechanic exists in the game.

The Market

The Market's floor-price rail and listings

The MARKET is the player-to-player item exchange. It is priced in SOL and settles wallet-to-wallet: the buyer pays the seller directly, and the game only checks that the payment happened before it moves the item.

Who can trade

Why: the Market moves items between bases, and a base only exists once you own land. Keeping browse open lets new players see what is worth playing toward before they buy in. See Land deeds and the globe.

What can be listed

Fees and the split

Every sale is split the same way: 95% to the seller, 5% to the fee treasury. The fee is computed as the floor of price × 5%, and the seller gets the rest. The price input shows YOU NET … as you type, so you see your take before you list. The fee percentage is a live server value flagged as an playtest placeholder; it can be tuned by the owner.

Selling: the floor rail and your listing

The top of the Market is the FLOOR PRICES rail: one row per item type with its cheapest open price and how many are LISTED. Tap a row to see only that item's listings. Sorting is PRICE ↑ (cheapest first, the default), PRICE ↓ or NEWEST; the floor is always computed over the whole book, not just what is on screen.

To sell:

  1. Scroll to SELL FROM INVENTORY. Each sellable item shows its current floor, or NO FLOOR YET — YOU SET IT if none is listed.
  2. Tap SELL. The price field is prefilled at the current floor. You can also start from the INVENTORY screen — its SELL ON MARKET button jumps here with the price already set at the floor.
  3. Adjust the price. The label next to the field tells you NEW FLOOR ✓ if you are at or under the floor, or +N% OVER if you are above it.
  4. Tap LIST.

Your open listings appear under MY LISTINGS. Each reads LIVE or RESERVED — A BUYER IS PAYING. You can DELIST a live listing at any time and the item returns to your backpack; a reserved listing is LOCKED until the buyer pays or the reservation lapses.

Tip: listings travel with the land. If you sell a deed that has open listings, the new owner of that deed becomes the seller and receives the SOL. Your backpack belongs to the deed, not to your wallet, so plan listings before you trade land.

Buying: reserve, pay, confirm

Each listing card shows its price and whether it is AT FLOOR or +N% OVER the floor. Tapping BUY runs three steps, and the button narrates them:

  1. RESERVING… — the server locks the listing for you for 120 seconds and returns the exact split: how many lamports go to the seller and how many to the fee treasury, tagged with a one-time reference.
  2. CONFIRM IN WALLET… — your wallet asks you to sign one transaction carrying both transfers. Nothing moves until you approve it.
  3. CONFIRMING… — once you submit, the game records your signature and polls the chain. When the payment is finalized and both legs check out, the item is placed in your backpack and the listing closes.

What happens if things go wrong:

The destination backpack is the base you had selected when you reserved, and it is frozen at that moment.

Land deeds: the external lane

Land deeds are Metaplex Core NFTs, and the in-app COLLECTION tab only shows the deeds you own and deep-links to Tensor and Magic Eden. A 5% creator royalty is set on the collection; those marketplaces honor it by convention, not by chain enforcement. On devnet there is no real liquidity on either marketplace, so the links mainly matter for a future mainnet launch. A traded deed conveys the base, its shards and its backpack, but not the wallet's KEEP or SOL, and the buyer has to claim the deed in-game before the base is theirs.

Mail is not a trading channel

Mail attachments (KEEP, Shards or a small set of consumables) are an admin and system reward lane. There is no way to send items from one player to another except through the Market, and reward mail delivery is currently disabled unless operators turn it on. See Quests, referrals, mail, chat and clans.

Devnet reminder

All SOL paid for boosts, all KEEP spent in the Shop, and every SOL sale on the Market happen on Solana devnet. The tokens are test-net assets with no real value, the fee split and price bounds are playtest values, and nothing here is a promise about a mainnet economy.
