With onchain gameplay, players who own a Land Deed will trade realm resources, kits, Crystal Fragments, Forge Ingots and in-game items with each other for KEEP from their own wallets, in one market with two tabs: Resources and Items. Every sale splits the same way: 90% to the seller, 10% burned on Solana.

The KEEP market is planned: it is designed but not built yet. Onchain gameplay is in development on devnet; dates will be announced. The numbers on this page are locked; other details may still change.

Quick facts

  • Land Deed holders only. Only players who own a Land Deed can list or buy. Free bases cannot trade on the KEEP market, which keeps free-base supply from flooding it.
  • One market, two tabs: Resources and Items. Realm resources, kits, Crystal Fragments, Forge Ingots and items trade for KEEP from your own wallet, at prices players set.
  • Every sale: 90% to the seller, 10% burned. The team and the Seeker Island pool get nothing.
  • NFTs trade in SOL on NFT marketplaces: Land Deeds today, vehicle NFTs when they arrive.
  • Gems never trade, and neither do Shop items bought with Gems.
  • Today's SOL item market stays. It keeps running alongside the KEEP market. See how the two compare.

The Market building

The Market at work, tiers 1 to 4, from a canvas stall to a timbered market hall
Fig. 2Market at work, tiers 1 to 4.
  • A front door, not a gate. It opens the same market as the HUD button, with the same access. You never need it to trade, and a destroyed Market never stops you.
  • A real building. 2×2 tiles, one per base, 20 levels, 4 visual tiers. In a raid it is an ordinary target that never fires back.
  • Costs will be announced. See New buildings.

  • You pay with wallet KEEP, not Gems. In-game KEEP becomes Gems 1:1 at the update, so withdraw before the announced date if you want SPL KEEP. See What changes for players.
  • Both markets run side by side. Today's SOL item market keeps running with its current rules when the KEEP market opens: Shop and marketplace.

How a trade works

Selling

  1. List. Set a price per unit in KEEP. The buyer pays that price; you receive 90% of it.
  2. Wait. Listed goods are set aside, so you cannot use them or list them twice. Cancel any part no buyer has reserved and it comes back. Whether listings expire will be announced.
  3. Get paid. Your share arrives as KEEP in your wallet.

Buying

  1. Reserve. Choose a listing, how many units and the base to deliver to. You pay the unit price for the units you take. The lot is reserved for you briefly while you sign.
  2. Sign once. One transaction pays the seller and burns 10%, and the game shows both parts first. You also pay Solana network costs in SOL, which can include a small account cost if the seller has no KEEP account yet.
  3. Receive. The game checks the exact transaction on Solana, and once it is final the goods arrive in the base you chose.

The game never holds your KEEP: it goes straight from buyer to seller.

  • Players set the prices. You buy from the fixed-price offer you choose; the game never shows a fixed KEEP value for a Forge Ingot.
  • Limits are still being tuned. Expect a very small minimum trade, a short reservation window and a cap on open listings. Buying several listings with one approval is being considered.

Where the KEEP goes

  • The burn is real. The KEEP is destroyed, not moved to a team account or back to the reward reserve. As currently designed, rounding goes to the burn.
  • Not like converting to Gems. KEEP converted to Gems returns to the reward reserve that funds future mining; nothing is burned. See Gems.
  • No earnings tax on a sale. The burn is its only charge. See Taxes, in plain words.

What you can trade

The KEEP market is one market with two tabs, Resources and Items. Only players who own a Land Deed can list or buy.

Realm resources

The raw resources of all eight realms and the materials refined from them trade for KEEP. Each realm gathers at its own pace and rarity, so the market is where their goods meet. Full list: Realm resources and kits.

Forge Ingots

  • KEEP only, never SOL. Ingots are materials, never NFTs or tokens.
  • Buying does not raise your capacity. You commit only as many ingots to the Gold Forge as your bases allow, however many you buy.
  • Committed ingots cannot be listed. As currently designed, listed ingots still count toward how many you can hold.

In-game items

  • Tradable: consumables, hero gear, training writs and hero contracts. How a stack mixing Gems-bought and other copies is handled will be announced.
  • Never tradable: Forge-only relics such as the Warzone Aegis. A copy a hero is wearing must be unequipped first.
  • Heroes and gear are game items, not NFTs. See Items, gear and inventory.

Kits and Crystal Fragments

Workshop kits (Expedition, Navigation and Climate) and Crystal Fragments trade for KEEP too. SHARDS are not traded on the market.

Outside the KEEP market

  • Gems cannot be listed, traded, sent, withdrawn or raided, and never turn back into KEEP.
  • Shop items bought with Gems are bound: usable, never listed. As currently designed, those on a base go with it if its land is sold.
  • Renown and EXP belong to you. Renown cannot be bought, and neither passes on with your land.
  • Land Deeds trade for SOL on NFT marketplaces, with a 5% creator royalty honoured by marketplaces but not enforced on chain. The base's stock, installed vehicles and base items go with the land. See Land Deeds.
  • Unused vehicle NFTs will trade for SOL the same way, with the same 5% creator royalty as Land Deeds. Installing one burns it into that base; the free starter boat cannot be traded. See Expeditions and vehicles.
  • The Clan Charter (planned) is designed to change hands only through the game's own controlled sale, to a buyer who accepts, after members' chest rewards are paid out. See Clan Charter.
  • Seeker Island spots are temporary rights won at auction in SKR, not land and not NFTs.
  • Realm permits are expedition access, not a market item: 0.01 SOL for one more realm for 7 days. See Realm permits.

Fair play and safety

  • KEEP market trades do not feed KEEP mining. They are not planned to count toward your mining score, so trading with yourself gains nothing and still burns 10%.
  • Buying goods never raises your mining capacity. Bought ingots only fill capacity you already have.
  • You never have to buy. Every essential common material stays reachable with the free starter boat.
  • Trade only through the market. Mail cannot carry items, and a deal made elsewhere has none of these checks.
  • Devnet. KEEP, SOL and items on devnet have no monetary value. The burn is how a sale settles, not a promise about what KEEP is worth.

FAQ

Can I trade from a free base?

No. Only players who own a Land Deed can list or buy on the KEEP market; free bases would flood it with items.

Can I pay with Gems?

No. The KEEP market uses KEEP from your wallet, and NFTs trade in SOL.

Can I sell Gems, or items I bought with Gems?

No. Both are bound to your account. Any indirect route from Gems back to KEEP loses almost all of the value, so think of Gems as an in-game currency to spend.

Can I sell Forge Ingots for SOL?

No. Forge Ingots trade only for KEEP.

When does the KEEP market open, and who can use it?

It is planned; dates will be announced. Only players who own a Land Deed can list or buy.
