PLANNEDPlanned — designed, and follows after onchain gameplay.
The Clan Charter NFT, planned for onchain gameplay, lets a clan leader hand over or sell leadership while members keep what they have earned.
The Clan Charter is a planned NFT created with every new clan, so the founder can later hand over or sell the clan's leadership. It is designed so members are protected: their share of the clan chest is paid out before a sale, and a transfer waits until the clan's tournament is over.
Onchain gameplay is in development on devnet; dates will be announced.
What the Charter is
- One Charter per clan, created when the clan is founded.
- It carries leadership: the clan's identity, its roster and the leader's ordinary admin rights.
- It is separate from Land Deeds, vehicle NFTs and every other item. It never grants personal EXP, Renown, mining weight, a base, a special site or any way to withdraw clan funds.
- History is kept. The clan always remembers its founder and every leader after them; bought leadership is shown as such.
How a leadership sale protects members
- The chest settles first. Before a sale completes, the members' accrued chest rewards are paid out to them. A new leader starts with no claim on what members already earned.
- Tournaments finish first. A transfer waits until the clan's current tournament has ended, so a sale can never swing a tournament mid-way.
- The buyer accepts. Leadership moves only to a registered player who accepts it.
- Members stay free. Nobody is locked in: members can leave under the normal rules at any time.
Clan prizes after the update
- Clan chests never hold KEEP. They carry varied in-game prizes instead.
- League rewards stay free of KEEP. Today they are SHARDS and items; later league prizes are planned as SKR and Gems.
Exact prizes, tournament rules and how the chest is funded will be announced with the feature.
